So today is good Friday, meaning the Friday before Easter, It is important to take this time in order to remember what Christ has done for us, even though we may think our lives are horrible and what ever we need to remember that Christ paid the ultimate price for us. I know if I have been whining in the last few weeks to a few people.. if I have you know xD sorry about that but yea lets take this time to remember what He has selflessly done for us.
Erm so i just got back form what was suppose to be an exciting night at disney land! the original plan was to leave for disney around 9:30 when AACF ended! we left around 9:45… not too bad! we exited the freeway around 10:15….. we were only three miles from the parking structure! it was slow at first taking until 11 to move the first mile… but the second mile took another hour =\ then we got text saying that they were no longer allowing people to enter disney land because it has reached capacity… really!? it reached capacity at 12 am!? What was everyone doing! The only people that would go to disney land would be college students.. oh wait.. there were 20+ of us from AACF alone… sigh… anyways we went to get food instead at cypress… so tired and didnt even go to disney land =\
So I just came back AACF winter retreat, this year it was at Victory Ranch in Moreno Valley, CA the speaker was Daniel Peterson we went over the book of Colossians. Over all the reatreat was a fun experience even with my awkwardness, I got to know a few people alot better. The location was interesting and it made me glad that I do not live on a ranch with smelly animals :P it was a great experience and I am looking forward to going again next year. I am not sure if i grew at all during this retreat but i feel like i have defiantly found places that i can grow more. One of the last songs that we sang at retreat was Your Love Never Fails by Jesus culture, which where the quote from below is from. As some of you know i was depressed due to my roommate issues along with adjusting in general; Will Ong came up to me during the second AACF to pray for me after he finished praying, the worship team played Your Love Never Fails and this song brought me to tears. Hearing this song again over retreat has made me realize that God is good and that he did make all things work together for my good. There was another line in that song that says There maybe pain in the night but Joy comes in the morning. I just wanted to say Thanks to all you people that helped me get through fall quarter, including Joy, Mango, Emily, Cassie, Kelly, Insu, Theo, Michael, Alfred, Brian,Sam and my small groups and my family. Sorry if I forgot you but i am extremely grateful to have you there and sorry for the long post but I doubt anyone will actually read all of it so its okay ^^
Hrmm So I back at Riverside now.. just realizing how much stuff I left at home so far ive realzied i left my remote for my monitor, mouse pad batteries and charger for my camera… but yea.. this picture was taken at Christmas in the Parks with joy! =D Sigh another quarter of only econ classes….. 18 econ units woohooo i am over ecstatic. Hopefully this quarter is better than last quarter… I m excited to hopefully go snowboarding this quarter if it ends up snowing but you never know so yea.. I guess well see… So yea i realize that I have not used this for a while…anyways thats it..
